The company can trace its roots back to the early 1800's when it was a traditional slating and plastering firm based and working in the county town of Forfar. A family firm it continued in this vein through the generations, when in 1960 David Laird Shepherd the father of current Director David Edward Shepherd bought into the firm with his father.
By the early 1990's the firm had transformed into a general main contracting company similar in form to the structure we see today. In 1994 Stuart Taylor FRICS was appointed to the board.
The company operates out of an extensive office and warehousing complex in Forfar. Contained within the complex is our in-house joinery workshop which manufactures solely for the company thereby avoiding long lead in times. The capability ranges from doors to timber kit production.
