Acting as Principal Contractor successfully delivered  the project comprising alterations to the existing Angus Communities Recycling Opportunities Partnership (ACROP) complex,  to provide a vehicle workshop, grounds maintenance workshop, messing and office facilities.  The total area of the facility being provided was approx 2,300m2 including a workshop area of approximately 2,100m2. 

Project  Features

The mechanical services include a new gas fired low temperature heating (lthw) system and ducted ventilation system to the offices and messing facilities, vehicle exhaust emission extraction compressed air installation engine, hydraulic oil distribution systems for the vehicle   Inspection bays, and specialised fume extractors in the Battery room and 2 Nr  vehicle inspection pits to   VOSA standards.

This extensive project included, forming twelve workshop bays including , parts washing room, and parts storage along with WC’s for the  vehicle workshop with a 10.5m high internal wall separating the workshop from the existing recycling facility.

A blacksmiths workshop with overhead motorised crane and a separate grounds maintenance workshop was formed in the existing building. Also provided offices, enclosed reception, changing facilities and toilets.
