Scheduling of the work was developed in conjunction with the school needs and resulted in a programme which recognised the needs of an operational school but allowed the extension to proceed during  term time. The alteration work within the main school was however carried out during the school holidays.

The works comprise the construction of a timber framed extension with a tiled pitched roof and alterations to the layout of the existing building to provide revised nursery accommodation together with all associated services and external works
