Andrew Shepherd Construction recognises that its suppliers/contractors have a considerable affect upon the quality of service given to clients and customers. To ensure that a high quality of service is maintained all significant suppliers are informed about Andrew Shepherd Construction Quality and Environmental systems. Suppliers are also assessed against criteria to ensure that they will continue to provide a level of service that will contribute towards the Environmental and Quality objectives of Andrew Shepherd Construction. Suppliers will be assessed and considered as an approved supplier should they meet one or more of the following criteria:

• That they have satisfactorily completed a supplier questionnaire
• That they offer the product or service that Andrew Shepherd Construction need
• They have their own quality and/or environmental management systems (certified)
• That they offer good value for money with no deterioration in quality of service
• That they are recommended by staff members or other trusted suppliers
• That they are suppliers who have consistently supplied good service in the past
