The buildings are located within a residential area and consideration of all impacts upon other residents, including other tenants and owners was essential in this live environment.
Waste management and segregation was particularly difficult due to narrow streets and limited opportunities for placement. Working with our waste partner multiple sized skips and same day removals were achieved.
The works comprised the replacement roofing to 787 existing council properties comprising a mixture of occupied social and privately owned dwellings. The work included, asbestos removal electrical, increased ventilation, plumbing (leadwork and rainwater), facia renewals, specialist concrete step repairs, timber repairs with new sarking, scaffolding and reroofing in slate and concrete tiles.
